Part 1 — Terms of Use

Who we are

This website is operated by Ai Curtains Home Furnishing Sdn. Bhd. (registration 201901010301 (1319629-D)), of 46-GF, Jalan Setia Perdana BB U13/BB, Seksyen U13, Setia Alam, 40170 Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia. In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Ai Curtains Home Furnishing Sdn. Bhd.

What these terms cover

Part 1 applies to your use of this website. Part 2 sets out the terms on which we consult, measure, quote for, make and install curtains, blinds and soft furnishing. By using the website you accept Part 1; by asking us to visit, measure or quote, you accept Part 2.

Using the website

You may browse this website and use the contact routes on it to reach us. The photographs on this website are photographs of our own installations and are our property. You may not copy, reproduce or reuse them, or the text on this website, for any purpose other than contacting us, without our written permission.

Information on the website

We keep the information on this website accurate and current, and we correct it when we find an error. The site numbers and localities shown here are taken from our own project register. Descriptions of fabrics, headings and blind types are general; what suits a particular window is decided at the measurement visit.

Quotations and prices

Nothing on this website is a quotation or an offer to supply at a particular price. We do not publish prices, because a curtain is priced from the window it is made for. A quotation is given only after we have measured, and only that quotation describes the scope, price and terms of a particular job.

Contacting us through WhatsApp, telephone and email

The WhatsApp, telephone and email routes on this website are operated by third parties: Meta Platforms for WhatsApp, your telephone carrier, and your email provider. Their terms and privacy policies apply to anything you send through them. This website itself collects, stores and processes no personal information. It has no forms, sets no cookies, runs no scripts and uses no analytics.

Liability

We may change this website and these terms from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page shows when the terms were last changed.

Part 2 — Service Terms

The consultation and measurement

We visit the property at a time you choose and at no charge. At that visit we measure the windows you ask us to treat and assess the window position, the ceiling height, where the rail can be fixed and the furniture around the window. The measurement covers the windows you ask us to look at, on the day and in the condition we find them.

The quotation

After the visit we give you a quotation at no charge. It describes the windows to be treated, the fabric, heading and hardware, what is included and what is excluded, the price, and any payment terms that apply to that job. Only that quotation, once you accept it, forms the agreement for the work. Anything not listed in it is not included.

Fabric and design

We recommend fabric, heading and design for the room we measured. Fabric is a natural and manufactured product: colour, weave and drape can vary between production runs, and a fabric can look different in your room from how it looks in the showroom. Where a difference matters to you, tell us before you accept the quotation and we will show you the fabric in the room before cutting.

Scope and additional work

We carry out the work described in the accepted quotation. If, once work has started, we find that more is needed — a rail position that cannot be used, a wall that will not hold a fixing, or a window larger than the one measured — we will tell you before doing anything about it and quote for it separately. Additional work is only carried out with your agreement.

What we need from you

Safe access to the windows on the day of measurement and on the day of installation; the area around each window cleared of furniture and belongings before we install; and a contact who can make decisions about the job while we are on site.

Scheduling

Curtains are made to your measurements after you accept the quotation, so there is a making period between acceptance and installation. We agree the installation date with you and tell you in advance when we will arrive. If we need to move a date, we will tell you as soon as we know.

Completion

When the installation is finished we walk the rooms with you. If anything in the agreed scope is incomplete, or is not as quoted, tell us then and we will put it right.

Photographs of our work

We photograph our own installations for our project register and, from time to time, publish them on this website and our social media, as with the photographs already on this website. We file each job by site number and locality; we do not publish your name or your address. Some of our photographs include the customer, taken at the handover with their agreement. If you would prefer that we do not photograph the work at your property, or that we do not publish photographs of it, or that you are not in them, tell us before installation and we will not.

Cancellation

You may cancel a measurement visit at any time before it takes place, at no cost. If you wish to cancel after accepting a quotation, tell us as soon as possible. Curtains are cut and sewn to your measurements and cannot be resold, so any fabric already cut and any work already carried out for your job will be charged as set out in the quotation.
